Acknowledgements

Here, I want to thank all people who enabled me to wear the kind of glasses I have always wanted to wear, who showed me I am not the only glasses fetishist in the world, who helped me realize I am not alone, who helped me get the GOC set and who supported me when I felt down and out. I cannot list all of them, so if I omitted anybody, please, forgive me.

They are:

Chris aka Wurm - the webmaster of Eye Scene, a man who maintains the very important web site, the large discussion board where all the glasses fans can meet and talk about glasses, lenses, fetish, obsession, to cut it short our hobby.

Lenslover - the webmaster of Smudge Report, and a publisher of my first "glasses stories".

Specs4ever - a member of Eye Scene community and an author of many good stories about glasses.

Martin Peter - the first member of the Eye Scene community who contacted me via e-mail, my friend who helped me overcome some bad crises in my life.

Andy - a member of Eye Scene community and webmaster of German GWG site, my friend who sent me contact lenses after I had torn one of my old ones.

JITR - a former member of the Eye Scene community, the first glasses fan who I met personally (by pure and unbelievable chance!).

Trent - a member of Eye Scene community and a member of GOC yahoo group, who shared so much with me when I was sad.

Tom the Hungarian - a member of Eye Scene community and an author of very good stories about glasses

"Erzsi" - a member of Eye Scene community - a man, who pretended to be a young handicapped woman in his e-mails. I want to thank him, because he made me realize I cannot trust everybody and everything I come over Internet.

Judith aka Moonmuse aka Musey- a member of Eye Scene community, a bright young woman who enlightened my evenings with her e-mails and the first person who I have ever sent my photo.

Nekva - a member of Eye Scene community. The second glasses fan I met in real life. He contacted me, arranged an appointment with me, shared his thoughts with me, and patiently listened to my unstoppable avalanche of words.

BobD - a reader of Eye Scene and a very kind and tolerant reader of my stories.

Mrs S.P. - an optician who believed my fake story, measured my eyes, determined the correct values and made me possible wear glasses over contacts (She will probably never get to know, what she had done for me.)

Mrs. H.K. - an optician who made and sold several pairs of glasses and contacts lenses for me and my friend Nekva and who is willing to make GOC set for me without asking "too many questions". Thank you Mrs H.K. for your understanding and for your kind attitude.

Emily - a new member of the Eye Scene community, who brought a kind of fresh air.

Ash - a clever man, who is always good o chat with

Rambling Rose - probably the most good hearted woman of all LensChat visitors

Cactus Jack - the newcomer to the Eye Scene in early 2000s, who quickly became a real expert in GOC calculations, experiments and who is always  willing to give advice in the subject.

Jules - the clever gay men with whom I could provide you with the Men-in-Glasses stories section

Amy Casseaux - the author of the fascinating and thrilling "blindness stories".

and many more ....
